Abu-Ghazaleh Launches All 4 Palestine Initiative at 2nd Palestinian Business Forum Conference in Istanbul



“The All 4 Palestine retells the story of every Palestinian scientist, writer, actor, official, comedian, athlete, businessman who through their sufferings made it out in the world and became an example appreciated by the younger generation who will look at them as their role model” says Mr. Abu-Ghazaleh

Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman and CEO of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) and chairman of the United Nations Global Alliance for ICT and Development (UN-GAID) launched on Tuesday October 6, 2010 the All 4 Palestine Initiative during the "Towards a Turkish-Palestinian Partnership in Business" conference held at Grand Cevahir Hotel in Istanbul.

The launch was held in the presence of Mr. Sabri Saydam, advisor to President Mahmoud Abbas on Telecommunications and Information Technology and former Palestinian Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology and a host of Turkish and Palestinian businessmen.

Deputizing for the Turkish Prime Minister HE Recep Tayyip Erdogan, HE Minister of Industry and Trade Mr. Nihat Ergun inaugurated the conference which is organized by the Palestinian Business Forum (PBF).

The conference gathers more than 800 Palestinian and Arab businessmen from 20 countries and was held a day prior to the International Business Forum organized by the Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association (MÜSIAD).

Mr. Abu-Ghazaleh delivered a key note speech at the opening of the Forum addressing the Palestinian creativity around the globe with focus on achievements of Palestinians in various fields and ways to support them. He also launched a one-of-a-kind initiative which explores in-depth the ingenuity and creativity of Palestinians living around the globe.

"The All 4 Palestine initiative will serve as a trusted source for those who are looking towards a brighter future for their families of Palestinian origin and to those who want to study comprehensively the history of Palestinians who made a name for themselves in various fields and sectors," Mr. Abu-Ghazaleh said.

"The All 4 Palestine retells the story of every Palestinian scientist, writer, actor, comedian, athlete, businessman who through their sufferings made it out in the world and became an example appreciated by the younger generation who will look at them as their role model," he added.

In his capacity as Chairman of the United Nations Global Alliance for ICT and Development (UN-GAID), Mr. Abu-Ghazaleh delivered a keynote speech on October 6, 2010 at the MÜSIAD in which he tackled Turkey's role as a regional leader in driving forward the achievements of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and in helping other nations promote education, improve health, and fight hunger.

A joint exhibition for Palestine and the MÜSIAD products is organized on the sidelines of the conference which will open a door of opportunities to discuss business with around 4000 businessmen attending the International Business Forum (IBF) in addition to 170000 visitors from 60 countries expected to visit the exhibition of MÜSIAD.
